    1. Good to know! After yesterday’s sweet potato treat “blurr of ‘gimme gimme gimme’”, I am confident that both cats and dogs like sweet potatoes and those are very close in flavor to pumpkin.

  1. Boiled rice and hamburger is what we were prescribed when our dog was having bad stomach troubles. Make a large batch and let it cool. Feed it to them twice a day for a few days.

    1. Good to know! When we lived in Alaska, we knew many who make their own dog food using a fish base + rice, but I suspect that was more because fish were inexpensive… always wondered if fishbones were good for pets, or if they were like poultry bones, which get brittle when cooked…
