Sweet Tate’r + Halo Treats

P1160503.JPGDr.Harvey’s Sweet Potate’r Chews are an alternative to rawhide’s which Spahera loves…. Purrseidon liked them, too, which caused a ‘conflict’, and forced a second test. (for original fiasco, click here.) These Potate’r Chews are dried sweet potatoes and some pieces are huge, while  others are not, which is good because trying to break them into pieces was not easy and the bag was as full as it possibly could get.P1160494.JPG
It took Saphera about 5 minutes of rolling. playing, talking to, and chewing to finish a big one. I would recommend these to people who have dogs who don’t care for typical dog treats but love people food or people who are looking for a healthy yummy option for their pouch. P1160504.JPG
P1160514.JPGPurrseidon eats Halo dry food, so we were happy to try their treats, though I didn’t expect much of a reaction.  I literally have a drawer full of various brands of cat treats that I’d had coupons for, but both cats had turned their noses up to previous treats, so  I did not expect much of a response from the purry ones, especially when I saw the treats were crunchy.P1160518.JPG
However, the cats went nuts over them. To get these pictures I had to first fill Purr up so she would not be a blur in every picture…this worked she was only a blur in 75% this time.
As you can see, these treats are shaped like adorable flowers and hearts. Their recommended serving size for Purr and Mr M is 2-4 …  if I went by that,  a bag of these would last our two at the very least 2 or 3 months, which isn’t realistic (my opinion). Lastly these do not have a nasty odor *gag* like many cat treats do.

    1. The fight over who could have the privilege of ‘testing’ those dog treats is why the first test was a disaster. Purr didn’t look too happy at being required to sit at the table, did she?
