Symptoms of Cold in Pets

Today, states. “Snow Emergency: two feet + and counting; cities shut down. Not good for wild animals – or the homeless…. and if there are power outages, it is difficult for most everyone to stay warm. It is currently 53 F where we live, but it is very windy … very windy – some gusts are even rattling the windows and the banana leaves have been so wind-whipped that they are in fringes, instead of just big fat leaves. Tonight, they predict a low of 35F, so the shelters are asking for blankets, etc.!

Needless to say, when Pinterest provided this info-graphic with information to identify the symptoms of frostbite and hypothermia in pets, I had to share it with you.

Be warm and safe!
