DIY Pet Trees

176-600x450.jpgI did not mis-type that Title… cats are not the only ones who enjoy having trees indoors. I have it on good authority that Quark and Boson like perching on indoor plants. Last year, I posted a blog about how an ambitious woman took the tree above and made a cat tree.

1312-600x1108.jpgHOWEVER, using similar techniques, that tree could have become something for birds and since birds don’t need lounging platforms, would 0496c3af6e9783ddd0fe830ec7ecbaf1.jpghave been easier to construct. The main thing I would do, if constructing a bird tree would be make sure its base is sturdy enough so it won’t tip and have a place to put newspaper for easy cleaning.

    1. Purrseidon and Mr. M need a nice, sturdy tree and I figured that IF I can find the right dead tree (and get permission to claim it), then I can use the top parts to make a tree for Boson and Quark and the lower portion for the cats. The thing is a good tree is challenging to find.
