DIY Dog Treats

Found  this on Pinterest, and the jpg took me to the original recipe, but I could not find a way to reblog banana-oatmeal-hypoallergenic-dog-treat-recipe/

As you can see in the jpg, there are three simple ingredients:

  • 1 Ripe Banana (I would need to hide one, since the Munchkins practically inhale them)
  • 2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
  • 1 Cup Oatmeal (quick 1-minute oats type)

Then you bake them like cookies – Bake at 350˚ until browned on the bottoms, about 15 minutes, remove and let cool.

Simple and healthy. Store in the refrigerator.

    1. That’s exactly what I thought when I was posting the blog. Well, specifically, I thought that if I could get a ripe banana and make a batch, Saphera would have to share with me and probably Purrseidon, too… that kitten seems to think she’s a puppy. For instance this month if “Dental Month’, so Purr and Saphera are testers for dental chews, etc… We figured we’d begin with Saphera and Ms. Purrseidon swiped the first one… had this problem last month when they were testing treats.
