Colorful Birds

Boson

Aside from Quark and Boson (above), the birds I see most often are either black or white – crows, seagulls, ibis, sandhill cranes. Actually, the cranes with their ‘red top hats’ are the most colorful we get here, on Florida’s Space Coast. That said, there are a lot of beautifully colored birds in this amazing world of ours and here are a few of them:

    1. That is Boson …. he is now about 3 months old and is quite the character. The photo is about a month old. He has never had his wings clipped and loves to fly/play. He is ‘building a fort’ on top of the kitchen cupboards.

      1. Well, Boson is building his fort on top of the kitchen cupboard – a piece of molding makes a high lip, which he can hide behind. Yesterday, he swiped a key off the keyboard and flew up there with it, so it’s not only a fort, it’s also a treasure trove.
