Essential Oils for Parrots

Until I discovered the info-graphic, below, on Pinterest, it never occurred to me that I could use essential oils for birds…. or that some scents should not be used. That wellness mist that they give the blend information for sounds like it would smell wonderful! Can you imagine lavender, orange and frankincense mixed with Bergamot? I don’t have all those oils, but intend to try mixing some of my own.

It is also good to know that tea tree oil (melaleuca) and citronella are not good for birds – would not want to endanger Quark or Boson.
