Meet Mango!

Mango-adventure-cat-3-of-9-819x1024.jpg

I discovered Mango on Adventure Cats – and you can, too. Mango is the type of cat that I include in my Sea Purrtector series, so I love discovering real life adventure cats. If you are interested in learning more about Michigan’s Adventure Cat, click here for the full article – and lots more photos  From reading the article, it sounds like Mango is about Purrseidon’s age – and has a similar fearless attitude (though the article did not share if he had ever encountered any horrid squirrels or if he might like water – other than staying dry while kayaking). While we know Purrseidon likes hiking, we’ve never tried camping, which Mango has done.

The article said that the two main issues they’ve had is that cats easily dehydrate and that he can get tired – perfectly sensible, since his legs are considerably shorter than his human companions and cats’ bodies have a higher water percentage.

Hope you enjoy meeting Mango as much as I did!

Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files.
