International Hug your Cat day sounds like a wonderful holiday!

Quite simply, it’s a day in which everyone everywhere is encouraged to hug the cats.  Of course, the more dedicated amongst them will not need this encouragement but it is always good to be reminded of all feline friends.

So, whether or not you are the proud housemate of a purring kitty, this is the perfect excuse to put a bit of warmth and companionship into your life.  No matter what’s going on around you, no matter how bad or troubling things get, you can always count on your furry friend to be there for you.

Let it be the perfect opportunity to put your kats on a pedestal and thank them for all those times they have curled up next to you after a long day.  Celebrate this holiday: give your cats a nice big hug, and while you’re at it, give in some gourmand treats, or delicious catnip!

  1. Mommy hugs me all da time and said she was gonna hug me silly tomorrow. Me’s not sure ’bout all dat, but me knows she’s gonna be grabbin’ fur me all day. MOL And ya’ know what? Me wouldn’t want it any other way. Those are great fotos.

    1. Purrseidon is more of an action cat than a lap model, too…. My dear M, on the other paw is a most excellent lap cat – he gives wonderful cheek rubs and hugs, too.
