Dog Paw Care

Last Monday, I posted about why it is NOT a good idea to declaw cats, so it seemed only fair to post about dog paw care today…. I have never heard of anyone declawing a dog, even though their claws don’t seem to retract, like a cat’s and I’ve always thought that was odd. Of course, some people don’t seem to know how to train their cat not to claw on furniture, so that might be the reason why some cats are abused in that way. That said, I’ve known people who had to have their wood floors replaced due to the way their dogs’ claws had gouged it.
