HRC & WJC homes

The photo above is of Hillary Clinton’s home in Chappaqua, NY. A few months ago, someone sent me information on the red barnish building in back. (Wish I could put my hands on that email, alas, I can’t.) Anyway, the email said that Hillary wasn’t comfortable with having Bill’s Secret Service detail sleep in the house (looks like there was enough  room to me), so the US government paid to have the smaller house built. If memory serves, that red building cost taxpayers $250,000. As per NY law, apparently once a building has been built on a property, it becomes the property of the registered owner, so despite the fact that the government paid for its construction Bill and Hillary own it. SO, they charge the government rent to use it.

If paying for housing for Bill’s Secret Service detail TWICE isn’t disturbing enough, realize that  BILL DOESN’T LIVE THERE!!!! He lives in the 5th Floor Penthouse above his library in Arkansas!

You can find out all about their living arrangements in this 7 minute video…. apparently library interns give good foot massages….

      1. Thanks! We ran up to near Orlando to visit some friends… they live about 10 miles from Disney, so when that closed, we wondered if we’d made the right choice… Thankfully, all that area got was rain (Purrseidon was very upset about not being allowed to play in it.) and their winds were below 50 mph. Our house endured higher winds and about a foot of rain, but came through just fine … we have a lot of work to do in the garden, though.

    1. IMHO, it takes a lot of nerve to make the gov. use taxpayer money to build a structure, then say since it now legally belongs to them, the US gov must pay rent!!!! Then, to add insult to injury, Bill doesn’t even live there!
