I know this might not be of interest to everyone, but this is for those of you who are interested in how your senator voted about the pensions of the US Military Veterans:

    1. I wish Oklahoma was treated more fairly…. A couple weeks ago I heard something about your state having some sort of bad ‘weather event’ (TV was on in the other room) and several people died… your state didn’t get any disaster aid, but a short while later, something happened in/near Boston and THEY were declared a disaster area, despite the fact that no one died!!!
      IMHO, that is NOT RIGHT.

      1. Yeah, we think you might be referencin’ our latest earthquake. Da biggest in many many years. We think da Governor has to ask to be declared a disaster to get funds, not sure. They are purrposin’ a grocery tax this election dat would put us at da highest tax in da U.S.. And ifin ya’ take a look at da studies, OK is one of da poorest states in da U.S.. We’re kinda taxed to death. Oh well, it is what it is. Mommy votes her no fur all tax increases, but ‘pawrently she’s da minority.

        Luv ya’

      2. We vote NO for tax increases, too, because we don’t see many examples of where our tax money is used wisely.
You are probably correct about it being an earthquake (I was thinking it was either that or a tornado) – it might have been a flood in MA.

  1. That is a disgusting issue to begin with. And I am absolutely shocked that there are two from GA (where we now live). I’m especially shocked to see Orrin Hatch of Utah on there. WTH is going on???? Those are one of the groups that needs to be INCREASED for no other reason than service given. Words for this government: Pride goeth before the fall!
