  1. Thanks for this Jeanne. I knew about onions, garlic, alcohol and chocolate, and my parents dog from years ago used to love walnuts! Maggie likes scrambled eggs, and if I cooked turkey (or chicken) I didn’t marinade it in anything, but she didn’t have the skin anyway.

    1. Mr. M love, love, loves bird, so we need to be very cautious about what we share with him. With Purrseidon, it’s salmon… Saphera will gulp down anything, which is one reason she is on a diet.

  2. This is so important. A lot of owners like to give their dogs the bones because it seems natural, but it’s actually dangerous. This is a good infographic to spread around!

    1. RAW bird bones aren’t as dangerous. As I understand it, the cooking process makes the bones more brittle or something, so they splinter when broken (vs. crumble)… those sharp splinters can pierce/embed into the throat, stomach or anywhere lower with horrible results.

    1. Nutmeg isn’t something we use a lot of, so it is easy to forget… I’m fairly sure that most people know that more common things like chocolate, onions, grapes and raisins are harmful.
