      1. Mr. M is convinced water = a very damp hell…. Purrseidon loves water and even begs to play in the rain…. we would love to know if some ancestor of her’s crossed with an otter or something. (She was born feral.)

      2. Daisy Mae sounds like a normal cat… we often share M’s confusion over Purrseidon. For example, it was raining ‘cats and dogs’ last week and we realized she wasn’t howling to go out…. spotted her outside, lounging in a puddle…. on purpose, no less!

      3. Purrseidon seems to go-go-go from morning to night & she was 2 last October. We’re not certain how old M is, but it took 3 years to earn his confidence and help he decide to become a house cat, don’t know how many years he lived feral.

      4. M has more energy now than he did when he moved in. I suspect this is partly due to a good diet and clean water, plus we medicated him for a urinary tract infection and give him silervine for his arthritic paws… we discovered silvervine helped him when we volunteered him (and Purrseidon) to be testers for Cat-a-bliss’ blends… Since neith M or Purr seemed to have the ‘catnip gene’, we were quite shocked to discover there was more than one type of nip and the Asian type seems to be medicinal for M.

      5. Rom, M and Purr could take or leave traditional catnip (apparently about 1/2 of cats have a gene that makes them crave it and mine didn’t have the gene).
As per the medicinal aspect, Kiara studied herbs for cats and bases her blends on her research. The funny part is that while she loves cats, she’s allergic to them, thus, she asked if M & Purr could be testers (she lives about 5 miles away).

      6. I know what you mean. I wish Daisy Mae wouldn’t sleep, scratch and bite so much. She’s fine when she’s sleeping but it when’s she’s awake she does what I mentioned. Maybe it has to with the weather and her slight heart murmur. Who knows? Vet didn’t tell us much except the shot that would help can’t be given because of her heart murmur. So we wait and watch.

      7. My Tigger kitty who died 9-ll-2015, we never knew how old she was but since we got Daisy Mae at an estimated 4 weeks we figure she’ll be 11 this year. My nephew was 4 when she was named. Neat Hah?
