Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. 1. So sad to see cats have kittens outside. The sounds cats meke are very personal, our cats have had their own voices. The funniest was a cat we took inside when it was a freezing cold. She was warming up and eating in our bathroom she made really loud sound, it was nom, nom, nom.

    1. I’ve only seen one outdoor cat down here – don’t know if it’s because of our local laws about all pets needing to be on leashes and/or in secure yards or not… Hate to think it’s because of alligators and actually doubt this because there are so many squirrels and other native creatures.

  2. That second one, with the cat growling over the food, that’s the sound of a feral cat that has been hungry more than once telling any other cats around to stay away, this is my food! To me it’s a very sad sound, as is the kitten crying for mama.
