Exciting News!

Exciting news! At one minute past midnight Pacific time on December 25, the Second Annual Smashwords End of Year promotion catalog goes live on the Smashwords home page! Readers can browse the catalog and search by coupon code levels and categories. All Xander’s Sea Purrtector books and Kazza’s Chatterre Trilogy are half off.

Alas, after 11:59pm Pacific time on January 1, the catalog disappears.

There’s no need to remember coupon codes. Readers will receive the discount automatically by adding your book to their cart.

For those of who aren’t familiar with Smashwords, it’s the e-book source used by Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo and other top e-book vendors. Smashwords makes our books available in PDF as well as the e-book formats, so you can read them on your computer instead of a device. Also, if you gift e-books, like I sometimes do, Smashwords makes it simple because you don’t need to find out what sort of device your recipient has – Smashwords sends them a nice email, telling them that you’ve given them a gift, then they simply click on the link and choose whichever format they need when they collect their gift.

Ff you need a last minute gift, this is perfect timing – and it doesn’t even require wrapping paper or ribbon. Simple, right?

HINT: IF you are getting them for yourself and you have a Kindle, choose mobi —epub works with B&N’s Nooks as well as most other devices.

Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

    1. I’m glad you liked them. The sale is something that most of us participate in, so if my books aren’t spot-on, you’ll probably be able to find something in their sale that is. For instance, I’m hoping to find a cookbook for a certain teenager who is learning to cook (and thus far, loving it).
